The same day that Broncos country started the trend “We Want Del Rio” on twitter, the Denver Broncos hired him. Around 9 PM EST Adam Schefter reported via tweet that the Denver Broncos have hired Jack Del Rio as defensive coordinator. Broncos country immediately reacted, enthusiastically and positively. The loss of Dennis Allen to the Raiders was not an easy one for Broncos fans and players to handle, but with Jack Del Rio as the replacement, all of that sadness has dissapeared. Del Rio has a strong and impressive resume, previously working with the Ravens as linebackers coach in 2000, and defensive coordinator under John Fox in Carolina. Del Rio is an impressive replacement for the position, and will enhance the team immediately. It is clear that the Broncos organization wants to win championships with the hiring of Del Rio. Hopefully the trend of quickly losing defensive coordinators ends with Del Rio.
